The Story
Undulating, curvy, gold wiggles—these eels are a stunning mashup of Egyptian and delicately loopy Belle Epoque. The woman, or man, who wears a piece from the eel collection has an unpredictable power. In typical Orchard Jewelry style, the eel becomes beautiful, not scary; magical, not menacing.
The Sargasso is four eels connected to each other’s sinuous bodies, and embellish the neckline beautifully. The model for these eels arrived in the garden after Hurricane Sandy in 2013, each one from the Sargasso Sea.

How to Wear
The Sargasso is best with a low-cut blouse, shirt or dress, with the eel tapering off near sexy cleavage. If it’s your best asset, give it a little gold-colored flair. Be a snake. A nice one.

American eels, born in the Sargasso Sea, are carried by ocean currents to streams, rivers and lakes on the East Coast. They return to the Sargasso to lay eggs, then die.
