You may be familiar with Janet Mavec’s Peace Dove. It is the signature necklace piece that launched a collection that’s been shown in Martha Stewart Living, Elle, and W magazines.
On this new necklace, the peace dove, Zenaida macroura, is taking flight on her peace-love-granola mission, but she’s not alone. Within her protection is an egg. The mourning dove’s egg may be white, but it appears blue in pale morning light. Artistic license is a beautiful thing, because the baby blue enamel is a stunner next to gold mama bird.
There is an economic term called "dove." It refers to a monetary policy that involves low interest rates. It is the opposite of hawkish.
Mourning dove eggs hatch within two weeks.
Both males and females split the parenting duties. Dove = gotta love.
